Membership: Representatives from each of the Constituent Bodies and Regional Councils.

Meetings: Meets as required, usually prior to Council Meetings, arranged by the Convenor.

Reports to: the BCA Council at Council Meetings, and annually at Annual General Meetings.

The Training & Equipment Working Group was created by the merger of the Equipment and Techniques Standing Committee and the Training Committee at the (INSERT DATE HERE) Council Meeting.

The groups purpose is to:

• Administer the BCA Anchor Scheme.
• Create guidelines for the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Research the appropriateness of different caving techniques and the promote best practice of different techniques.
• To assist clubs and regions organise caver training training events.
• To administer the awarding training grants.
