+BCA Finances are managed by the Treasurer and Finance Committee and published annually on the BCA website.

+**Composition:**
+Finance Committee consists of the BCA Treasurer and the Treasurers of the five Regional Councils.

+BCA Treasurer is the Chair and convenor; however any member can call a meeting,

+**Role within BCA:**
+Finance Committee review each region's claim for retrospective funding by BCA and passes each claim before payment.
+They also undertake other tasks as requested by BCA Council or AGM.

+**Use of BCA Website:**
+The BCA Treasurer is responsible for any Committee meeting minutes to be posted onto the BCA website.

+===== Funding of Regional Councils =====
+The BCA has a policy document for funding of Regional Councils, including expectations and procedures for both the BCA and the Regional Councils to adhere to. This was substantually overhauled in January 2020 to remove most disallowed categories of funding. This essentially empowers Regional Councils to spend money with greater security that all reasonable costs will be covered by BCA, while reducing administration. Be aware that any specific project exceeding a specified value (value stated in policy) still needs to be pre-approved for budgetting purposes and to ensure money is being spent in accordance with BCA values. This policy can be found on the Finance section of the BCA website.
