**Equipment & Techniques Committee**

**Convenor:** Mark Sims //(due for re-election in June 2020)//

**Membership:** Representatives from each of the [[http://british-caving.org.uk/?page=131|Constituent Bodies]] and [[http://www.british-caving.org.uk/?page=88|Regional Councils]] plus other co-opted individuals //(include list)//.

**Meetings:** Meets as required, usually prior to Council Meetings, arranged by Convenor.

**Reports to:** Quarterly at BCA Council, and annually at Annual General Meeting.

**Terms of Reference:** BCA Equipment and Techniques Standing Committee Terms of Reference (accepted at AGM 9th June 2019): To coordinate and administer the anchor program, and additionally to test equipment for caving use, produce and update as necessary guidelines for the use of fixed aids and for the care and maintenance of equipment.
